The purpose of this Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (DGEIS) is to evaluate the potential impacts of growth on certain resources and facilities located in the Town of Stillwater, Saratoga County, New York.

The goal of the Farmland & Open Space Protection Plan is to establish a vision for the Town of Stillwater’s efforts to preserve its rural landscape.
On July 6, 2006, the Stillwater Town Board unanimously adopted the Town of Stillwater Comprehensive Plan. Adopting the plan, marks the completion of an effort, over an 18 month period, by volunteers representing all neighborhoods and stakeholders.
Rezoning & Design Standards Project 2016
The Town and Village of Stillwater are jointly working together to collaboratively develop new zoning code changes and design standards that promote walkable mixed-use development where there is existing development, protect and preserve rural and historical areas including north of the Village and near the Saratoga Historic Battlefield, and enhance and support economic development and revitalization efforts along the Route 4 corridor. This project will involve updating both the Town and Village zoning codes and result in individual updates for both jurisdictions.
Funded by the NYS Department of State’s (DOS) Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP), the Stillwater Hudson River Waterfront Revitalization Plan represents a strategic partnership between the Town and Village of Stillwater.
May 2006 - The Study Area for the Route 4 Corridor Plan includes Route 4 and lands within approximately one-half mile of the roadway in the Town and Village of Stillwater.

The White Sulphur Springs Pavillion is located at the corner of Luther Road and NYS Route 9P on Saratoga Lake. The purpose of the project is to renovate/restore the existing historic gazebo to its original historic character; clear and landscape the site to a park-like setting, provide adequate parking and handicapped accessibility, add signage, supply necessary utilities and lighting and provide for pedestrian circulation.
Located at 662 Hudson Avenue, the Stillwater Free Library is a proud member of the Southern Adirondack Library System. The Library's mission is to provide educational, informational and recreational resources to patrons of all ages, cultural and economic backgrounds.
